🤢through all of my love for this awesome city, i’m still SO perplexed at how backwards NY (and the rest of the world) is on this front, it is an abhorrent insensitivity to live in a culture where plastic bags are still a norm. NY needs to jump on the Cali train...the environment can’t wait😭

ps yes i’m that nerd who writes advocacy letters to places like Whole Foods Market to ban the use of plastic and styrofoam but obviously to no avail... does anyone else care at all? 🤦🏻‍♀️...message me your thoughts 🙈
